I have been invited to host an Artist Talk & Art Therapy workshop on June 25,2013. It is a Tuesday early evening from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm  It will be at The Art Experience, which is an Open Art Therapy Studio, in Pontiac Michigan. Please R.S.V.P. and register to attend in advance throught TAE's website: www.theartexperience.org It is listed under the summer classes tab. The session will run 2 hours. My presentation will be on Recovery through Artmaking & Mental Health. I will also discuss my own personal battles as an artist and as a art therapist will Manic-depressive Disorder. My presentation will be only 30-40 min long-afterwards there will be a short Q &A. Followed by a watercolor demo of 2 seperate watercolor resist techniques-one using crayons and one using salt. Guests will then be encouraged to create their own art and imagery.Tickets will cost $20 but that does include art supplies as well as a small speakers fee for myself.
