From 6:00pm-8:00pm. The Art Experience is located just north of downtown Pontiac.

I will be presenting an Artist Talk concerning Recovery through Art-making & Mental Health.

I am an Artist, a Poet and an Art-therapist who has lived with Manic-depressive illness for over two decades. My presentation will discuss recovery from my illness and the imapact of art-making. 

 

After my talk, there will be a brief Q and A oppurtunity if anybody has questions. Next, I will be doing two different watercolor resist techniques. Finally the participants will be invited to make their own art projects. Supplies are included with ticket cost. Tickets are only $20 per guest.

​Also, I will be bringing some of my Artist/Poetry Chapbooks to the event,

to sell and sign even if you would like. Most of the books will cost $10 even,

except for "Memoirs of recalled Madness: a personal account of living with

manic depressive disorder." and "Art before words." Both of these two are

considerably longer and will sell for $15 each.
